Afrojack might just have his next hit on his hands. The veteran Dutch producer teamed up with hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd and pop singer Stanaj for new release “Sober.” The track juxtaposes Stanaj’s heartfelt vocals and minimalistic production backdrops with Rae Sremmurd’s punchy rapping and a cutting drop. The track’s versatility gives it the potential to be featured everywhere from mainstream radio stations to main stage festival sets.
Afrojack spoke about working with the artists in an official release, stating,
“Working with Rae Sremmurd and Stanaj was fire. Rae’s work ethic is hardcore, and we even made some changes to the song on the set of the video to make sure it’s the best! This is also the second time doing a record with Stanaj and the combo of his voice and approach to pop always gives a WOW effect.”
The outfit have also released a music video to accompany the release, with scintillating and artistic visuals breaking up the artists’ appearances throughout. “Sober” is out now on Armada.
