Lipless releases debut album, ‘State Of Mind’

Grammy-nominated producer Lipless has achieved plenty throughout his decorated career, but until now, he had never released an album. That changes with State Of Mind – his debut album, out now via Colorize.

State Of Mind tells a deeply immersive story across 14 tracks and features collaborations with Tishmal, Linney, Richard Waters, Late Night Alumni and more. Of course, the album wouldn’t have been complete without a collaboration with longtime friend Kaskade who teamed up with Lipless for the album’s title track. Other standout records on the project include the lead single “Incomplete” with TMPST, Jordan Grace, and Maynørr; the ethereal “Alive” featuring an angelic vocal from Tishmal; and “For The Dark” showcasing the unmistakable voice of Richard Walters.

Since bursting onto the scene with his 2016 EP Wake Up Call, Lipless has been turning heads behind the strength of his cinematic brand of melodic, progressive house. Production credits on Kx5 hits like “Alive,” “Take Me High,” and “Avalanche,” along with support from artists such as Nora En Pure and Above & Beyond, have only solidified his place as a mainstay in the electronic music landscape.
