It has been three long years since we’ve heard from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs<\/a>. The British beatsmith, born Orlando Higginbottom, last delivered a collaboration alongside Boys Noize<\/a> in 2015, and since then, has applied most of his focus on writing and producing his sophomore longplay. Now, in celebration of his birthday, TEED has surfaced without any notice to drop off a new original piece, “Leave a Light On,” that shows off the multi-faceted veteran still very much in top form.<\/p>\n

Spontaneously dropping off the new tune free of any label red tape or release strategy,\u00a0the “Feels Like<\/a>” producer’s latest offering is a melodic downtempo product anchored down by vibrant instrumentation and\u00a0his characteristically airy vocal work. Of the surprising new release, TEED explains,<\/p>\n

It essentially picks up right where Higginbottom left off, and hopefully the new track signals to an impending release sooner rather than later. For now, we can all just celebrate Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ birthday with the gift of new music.<\/p>\n
