Sydney favourites R\u00dcF\u00dcS have returned with their\u00a0first new single in over two years, ‘No Place’.<\/p>\n

It’s the first cut off their upcoming third album, which the band have been recording over the past\u00a0year in their new home of Venice, California. There’s no title or release date set for the album yet, but\u00a0it’s expected to land before the end of the year.<\/p>\n

“It feels like a new\u00a0RU?FU?S,\u201d\u00a0the band says of the new album. “We are inspired by our new home out here, by the people we\u2019ve met and the music we\u2019ve heard along the way. We\u2019ve got a refreshed sense of ambition and cannot wait to share our creation with the world.”<\/p>\n

The track isn’t the only thing that’s new either: the trio have now officially changed their name from\u00a0R\u00dcF\u00dcS to\u00a0R\u00dcF\u00dcS DU SOL. They’ve actually been known as R\u00dcF\u00dcS DU SOL in\u00a0North America for a while now\u00a0— following a\u00a0trademark dispute back in 2014<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>—\u00a0but now they’re taking the name worldwide.<\/p>\n

The band have announced a number of tour dates<\/a><\/strong> across North America over the coming months in support of the new single — but there’s no word yet on when they’ll be heading back to our shores.<\/p>\n
