In the latest Essential Mix, BBC Radio 1<\/a> turns the focus to one of London’s most beloved venues, Printworks<\/a>, in an effort to help spotlight shuttered music sites. CamelPhat assume mixing duties for the latest Essential installment, delivering their set from an empty Printworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CamelPhat’s Essential Mix from the storied halls of the London hotspot is a “tribute to all of the amazing nighttime spaces around the world that we’re missing right now,” according to BBC’s Pete Tong<\/a>. The Liverpudlian duo’s two-hour mix is full of high-energy dance tracks that befit the venue; all that’s missing is the crowd.
