\nAfter calling attention to racial injustice<\/a> earlier this year, Ty Dolla $ign<\/a>, Skrillex<\/a>, Virtual Riot<\/a>, Ant Clemons<\/a>, and Nia Miranda emerge on “Sullen Sunday” via the Roc Nation<\/a>-released compilation album titled Reprise<\/em>, which will benefit multiple social justice initiatives across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The track reputed earlier as “You See It, now officially known as “Sullen Sunday” surfaces as the second song on the 11-track compilation which features Rapsody, Vic Mensa<\/a>, King Mel, Ambr\u00e9, D Smoke, AJ Tracey, and Buddy who convey dynamic messages about about the current racial climate in America. Behind strong message of “Sullen Sunday”, Virtual Riot accredits himself to have played the melancholic keyboard progressions in the background, alongside Skrillex who is bears merit to his recent “Ego Death<\/a>” collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Roc Nation co-presidents Shari Bryant and Omart Grant shared,<\/p>\n\n\n\n “We are honored that so many great creatives were able to lend their genuine support, on what turned out to be an amazing project. As black music executives, we feel a project like this is not an option, but our duty.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n All proceeds made from the\u00a0Reprise<\/em>\u00a0initiative will go to benefit\u00a0the Gathering for Justice<\/a>,\u00a0Until Freedom<\/a>,\u00a0Equal Justice Intiative<\/a>,\u00a0Grassroots Law Project<\/a>, and the\u00a0NACDL<\/a>\u00a0Foundation for Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Accountability Database Project which support those who have been a victims of police brutality, hate crimes, and other injustices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
