For the category of “Best Male Video” at the 2016 MTV VMAs Calvin Harris went up against Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Bryston Tiller’s “Don’t,” Kanye West’s “Famous” and The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Despite the tough competition, Calvin Harris pulled ahead as the winner of this year’s “Best Male Video” award. The song which was released on April 29, 2016 reached the #3 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached the #2 spot on the US Mainstream Top 40. Still to come are the rewards for Best Cinematography and Best Electronic Video in the dance music spectrum.
