A new report from Josh Friedlander at the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) reveals that through mid-2015, vinyl sales are outperforming a number of streaming services. In fact, according to stats, vinyl sales have gone up 52% since the last report by the RIAA. They’ve surpassed YouTube and Vevo among others. A full report shows that track sales still dominate over album sales and vinyl accounts for 30% of all physical shipments. Check out this statistics below for vinyl sales. Read the full report here. Guy Lawrence from Disclosure spoke with Triple J this week to discuss the latest album, “Caracal,” and plenty more juicy topics as they begin to embark on a new season with plenty of tour dates.
