Still experiencing those EDC withdrawals? This coming weekend looking a lot less spectacular than the last? Don’t worry, help is at hand, courtesy of none other than dance music’s comedian-in-chief Dillon Francis.
Following the lead of many EDC headliners (DJ Snake, Calvin Harris, Eric Prydz, Tiësto and Kaskade, to name just a few), the Mad Decent star has shared the recording of his peaktime set – and you can download it for free, too.
Dillon was one of the guaranteed crowd-igniters on the festival’s final night, tasked with the prime 12:30am slot on HARD’s stacked stage. Coming on after Bassnectar’s speaker-shaking set, the Instagram maestro wasted no time getting straight down to it. ”Hi, my name is Dillon Francis,” he announced nonchalantly on the mic. “I wore a suit today to look pretty for y’all.”
From there, he threw down “brand new shit” and certified festival anthems over a breakneck 90 minutes. The EDC crowd heard his new collaboration with What So Not, got low with a special cameo from DJ Snake (for one of the last times?), and raged to a greatest hits of the producer’s catalog.
Dillon’s own assessment of his EDC experience? “Fucking incredible,” he marvelled on Instagram. Check out the full set below, and look out for him at HARD Summer, Tomorrowland, HARD Red Rocks, and many more stops over the months ahead.
