RÜFÜS just dropped their first new track in two years

Category: EDM NEWS

Sydney favourites RÜFÜS have returned with their first new single in over two years, ‘No Place’.

It’s the first cut off their upcoming third album, which the band have been recording over the past year in their new home of Venice, California. There’s no title or release date set for the album yet, but it’s expected to land before the end of the year.

“It feels like a new RU?FU?S,” the band says of the new album. “We are inspired by our new home out here, by the people we’ve met and the music we’ve heard along the way. We’ve got a refreshed sense of ambition and cannot wait to share our creation with the world.”

The track isn’t the only thing that’s new either: the trio have now officially changed their name from RÜFÜS to RÜFÜS DU SOL. They’ve actually been known as RÜFÜS DU SOL in North America for a while now — following a trademark dispute back in 2014 — but now they’re taking the name worldwide.

The band have announced a number of tour dates across North America over the coming months in support of the new single — but there’s no word yet on when they’ll be heading back to our shores.
