Electric Forest has just wrapped its 8th annual gathering, and the Insomniac/Madison House produced event seems to grow exponentially with each passing year. Complete with spectacular new stages, yet another expertly curated 2018 line-up, and new crevasses to explore at every corner of the grounds, it’s no wonder Sherwood Forest is a place that draws world-class visual and musical artists to showcase their work.
Living up to it’s promise to offer a truly unforgettable, always changing festival experience, EF boasted a completely revamped Ranch Arena stage, which played host to resident headliners The String Cheese Incident and Bassnectar, along with Marshmello, ZHU, and Galantis, to name a few. The expansive Tripolee stage continues to add new visual dimensions to its world each year, with artists like CloZee, Netsky, Herobust, Jauz, and Testpilot revealing a new chapter into its rich story. Step deeper into Sherwood Forest to find The Observatory and Forest stages, which hosted several secret sets and a Desert Hearts takeover throughout the weekend. Perhaps the most exciting addition to the Forest, however, was the Carousel Club, a brand new circus tent stage experience that played host to renegade artists featuring the Saturn-sounds of rising act Desert Dwellers.
