Dancing Astronaut - house, electro, progressive, dubstep
There’s coffee, and then there’s trap.
Many artists enter the bass scene, which remains tight-knit for one reason: Most are chewed-up and spit out before making an impact on the genre. While artist bookings are at an all time high, most promoters grab on to the mainstream sound of big room house and refuse to dive deeper into the depths of trap, dubstep, and associated genres. Snails, however, has rejected both these recent tendencies with the sheer power of his talent and the quality of his music; a cosign from Skrillex has Snails running on a hot North American tour currently hitting stops with fellow trap electronic musicians like Thugli and a wide variety of others at festivals including HARD Summer. To celebrate the tour, Snails released a mix of fresh tunes from himself and his musically inclined friends, entitled “Coming to America.” The mix is the first rendition of his SNAILEDIT! podcast, which is sure to continue with the heat it brought in the first. The mix essentially showcases the next generation of young bass stars – a young crew under the OWSLA name that have the talent and refreshing sound to keep bass pure in an ever-evolving electronic scene.
