Space Laces is back to bass music with what can only be described as a double-edged sword. On one hand, ecstatic Space Laces fans are rejoicing that the next anxiously awaited installment in the “Vaultage” series has at last arrived. Bass purveyors are simultaneously in a tizzy with the concurrent realization that the king has back—and he’s effectively upped the ante.
To put it simply, “Vaultage 003” is here, and it is absolute insanity. The action-packed mix features not one, not two, but 21 Space Laces originals. Across the 20-min “Vaultage” span, Space Laces flexes his production mastery and creativity with wonky bass numbers such as “Bird Alert” a he flaunts his expertise in heavy-hitting sound design with numbers such as “Sample This.” With not a second of time wasted and not a single collaborator admitted, listeners’ jaws will expectedly be on the floor for the entirety of the listening experience.
