Montréal’s beloved summer event series, Piknic Électronik, is back with a bang for the 2024 season. The homegrown weekly events are set to return to the picturesque Parc Jean Drapeau from May 19 to October 6, 2024, offering a total of 19 unmissable parties to cap off each weekend.
Featuring over 115+ bookings, this year’s bookings balances a fresh mix of local heroes and international selectors. Among the notable acts, names like BLOND:ISH, Chase & Status, Dennis Ferrer, Hot Since 82, Joachim Pastor, Mall Grab, Marsh, Sammy Virji, Sara Landry, Township Rebellion, and VTSS stand out as favorable picks for the year, offering up a well-curated roster for each weekend.
It wouldn’t be a summer Piknic without the equal focus on local acts – the backbone of Montréal’s music scene. 2024’s lineup boasts 50+ local acts, making up a lofty portion of the lineup. Making up almost half of the lineup and promising some of the most spectacular parties. From fan-favorite Misstress Barbara securing her annual Labour Day weekend slot, to disco & house collective, Ferias that can get anyone to boogie, these homegrown talents are not to be missed.
