New music highlights from Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2025:

Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør – Running To The Sea (anam? Remix)

anam? — the lone Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2025 release this week — have delivered a towering, eight-minute remix of Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør’s 2013 classic, “Running To The Sea.” It’s been a big year for the melodic duo — made up for Swede Marcus Schossow and Norwegian Thomas Sagstad –—who released their album Hopes & Fears in February and now add their “Running To The Sea” remix to an ever-growing discography. – Zach Salafia

Paradoks – Answers

Paradoks has made a standout debut on Joris Voorn’s Spectrum imprint with “Answers,” a long-time favorite in both his and Voorn’s recent sets. The release marks a pivotal moment in Paradoks’ artistic evolution, reflecting a deeper sense of identity and personal growth that’s resonating across the melodic techno landscape. With early support from the label boss himself and a growing global fanbase, Paradoks is continuing to carve out his place among the genre’s most promising talents. – Alex Lambeau

Samm – Body Language

Samm is continuing his rapid ascent with the release of “Body Language” via BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra imprint. With over a decade of production experience, the Belgian artist has quickly gained recognition from key tastemakers — including AdriatiqueRampa, and RÜFÜS DU SOL — who’ve all championed his sound. With continued support across iconic venues from DC10 to Pacha and even the Giza Pyramids, “Body Language” marks another global milestone in Samm’s rapidly growing journey. – Alex Lambeau

ARTBAT – Galaxy

ARTBAT have expanded their creative universe with “Galaxy,” their latest single crafted exclusively for the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves soundtrack. Known for pushing boundaries across club and festival stages, the Ukrainian duo now channel their signature sound into the world of gaming, joining a lineup that includes SolomunSteve Aoki, and Alan Walker. Released in collaboration with SNK and MAHOOL Records, “Galaxy” marks ARTBAT’s first foray into soundtrack work and reflects their growing influence beyond dance floors, connecting global electronic culture with an iconic gaming legacy. – Alex Lambeau

OCULA & LeyeT – Euphoria

Exactly three years later — three days shy of its actual anniversary — OCULA has finally secured a long-awaited original collab with LeyeT. OCULA’s “Feel Around You” reimagining has been a fan-favorite since its July 2022 release, and it seemed destined that the two would officially meet for a proper pairing. Teased in early June while becoming a live staple during OCULA’s U.S. run, “Euphoria” has proven to be worth the wait as it now arrives via Lilly Era. – Ross Goldenberg

SG Lewis – Sugar

2 + 2 = 4. SG + SG = “Sugar.” It’s now an SG summer for more than one reason as the Brits further advance the rollout of SG Lewis’ third studio album, Anemoia, with a saccharine answer to the LP’s lead single, “Back Of My Mind.” It’s SG Lewis and Shygirl’s second collaboration, following last year’s self-confident, similarly upbeat and ebullient Club Shy standout, “mr useless.” Like the crystalline additive of its title, “Sugar” is sure to leave listeners wanting more. Fortunately, they won’t have to wait much longer — Anemoia lands via Forever Days / Positiva on September 5. – Rachel Narozniak

Alex Wann – Right

Alex Wann — 2024 Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch — has made his Defected debut with original single “Right,” continuing a breakthrough run that’s positioned him as one of house music’s most exciting new voices. After turning heads with his global hit “Peperuke” and contributing a standout remix for Defected’s 25th anniversary, the Paris-based artist now returns to the label with a track that reflects both his Afro house roots and club-driven evolution. With support from SolomunLiva KMajor League DJzArodes, and Andrea Oliva, “Right” underscores Wann’s growing influence and his seamless fit within Defected’s next chapter. – Alex Lambeau
