UNTOLD Festival — Romania’s biggest dance music celebration — pulled out all the stops for its 10th anniversary. More than 450,000 attendees packed out Cluj-Napoca’s Cluj Arena and Central Park across four unforgettable nights from August 7 — 10, with top-tier performances, jaw-dropping visuals, and surprise moments spread across eight stages. The festival’s elaborate stage designs and world-class production set the tone for a magical experience from start to finish, and the lineup was equally enchanting.
UNTOLD’s first evening featured Salvatore Ganacci, who played a surprise set on a stage designed to resemble a pub, creating one of the weekend’s most talked-about moments. Other standout highlights of the weekend included Anyma’s UNTOLD debut, Fisher’s high-energy mainstage debut, and other memorable performances from the the likes of Dom Dolla, Adriatique, and Green Velvet, each bringing their signature sound to the Galaxy Stage. Armin van Buuren returned to Romania to honor his longstanding connection with the festival, playing a special three-hour anniversary tribute. And last but certainly not least was Martin Garrix, who was tasked with UNTOLD’s Sunday night closing responsibilities, performing a one-of-a-kind anniversary set that fittingly concluded with “High On Life.”
The festival’s 10th anniversary was more than just a party, it was a milestone that broke attendance records and sold out all four nights. UNTOLD’s production remains unmatched, with massive stage designs, pyrotechnics, and immersive lighting transforming its host park into a real-life fantasy world.
