New music highlights from Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2025

Adam Sellouk – Cloud 9 [EP]

Adam Sellouk returns to Massano’s Simulate label for a two-for-one release package. Reuniting with Paradoks — following their 2024 collaboration “Internal” — Sellouk delivers an energetic sequel that’s already proved its strength Tomorrowland, Street Parade’s Mainstage, and Ultra. On the EP’s vocal-driven B-side, he teams with M2 and UN:COMN for another highly requested ID, “Make You.” With Cloud 9, Sellouk once again pushes the boundaries of melodic techno through two of his most powerful, driving productions to date. — Alex Lambeau

Arcando, Martin Garrix & Bonn – Set Me Free

Today marks a full-circle moment for one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2025. In March 2024, Martin Garrix unexpectedly fired off Arcando’s “Jungle” remix in the midst of his appearance in downtown Miami, deservedly skyrocketing not only the track’s popularity but also Arcando’s. Fast forward to present day and after delivering an official remix of “Limitless,” Arcando now has an official original collaboration with the STMPD RCRDS founder. Serving as Garrix’s first-ever drum ‘n’ bass release — under the Garrix branding that is — doubling as the fifth piece of his ORIGO EP and orchestrating a long-awaited reunion between Garrix and Bonn, “Set Me Free” now lands six months removed from its Ultra 2025 unveiling. – Ross Goldenberg

Trallez – Ladies & Gentlemen (TOBEHONEST Remix)

Following the success of “Evil Ways” and his viral SoundCloud flip of The Dare’s “Girls,” TOBEHONEST is keeping the momentum alive with another highly anticipated release: his remix of Trallez’s “Ladies & Gentlemen.” Landing an official release via Black Book Records, the undertaking leans into indie-house influences while carrying TOBEHONEST’s trademark energy while highlighting his ability to expand his sound while maintaining its core identity. With widespread support building ahead of its public arrival, this remix is poised to become a standout addition to his growing catalog. – Danielle Carty

Sammy Virji, Chris Lake & RoRo – 925

Two of the UK’s biggest house heavyweights have teamed up for a follow-up collaboration. Serving as the latest single from Sammy Virji’s incoming album — due September 19 — “925” sees him reunite alongside Chris Lake for a high-energy dancefloor weapon that’s impossible to skip. The release is particularly exciting as it arrives shortly after Chris Lake’s latest album, Chemistry, proving he still has plenty more in the release tank this year. Providing an evenly balanced combination between Virji’s dynamic production and Lake’s signature house grooves, “925” has already captivated fans at live shows and further cements the duo as two of the most potent forces in house music and beyond. – Liana Stern

Calvin Harris & Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing (D.O.D Remix)

Since initially entering the dance music scene more than 15 years ago, D.O.D has built up a reputation for warm, high-energy club records. And the latest example of his the piano-driven style that’s received consistent praise in the time since is his official remix of Calvin Harris and Florence Welch’s “Sweet Nothing.” 13 years after the original’s release, D.O.D modernized the all-time classic for today’s house-driven dance floors, proving he remains a heavy hitter in the present day house world. – Oliver Broek

MYRNE – Field EP

MYRNE has long been a fan-favorite on This Never Happened, and he reaffirms that status with his Field EP. Spanning four tracks he describes as “destined for the dancefloor” and rooted in real-world sounds, the project includes “Koel” — inspired by Singapore’s “most annoying bird” — “Daybreak” — shaped by the sounds of sunrise — “In Cerulean” — a Spring 2025 Mixtape ID inspired by the ocean — and the title track, all coming together as melodic house at its finest. — Ross Goldenberg

SG Lewis & London Grammar – Feelings Gone

Feelings come and go, but the vibe SG Lewis routinely stokes across his records is here to stay. “Feelings Gone,” a dreamy, groove-driven cruise down the highway of nostalgia with London Grammar on vocals in the passenger seat, is the latest proof (and possibly the last Anemoia preview). The supple, pulsing single narrates a perpetual cycle of romantic push-pull in a highly replayable framework that carries the same allure as “the memory of feeling” of which Grammar sings. Following “Back Of My Mind” and “Sugar (feat. Shygirl), “Feelings Gone” continues to pave the path to Lewis’ third studio album, due via Forever Days on September 5.  – Rachel Narozniak

Emma Louise & Flume – DUMB [Album]

DUMB is a 10-track collaborative album from Australia’s own, Emma Louise and Flume. The longtime friends — who previously worked together on “Hollow” from Flume’s 2022 album Palaces — reunited in their current place of residence of New South Wales for a studio session that quickly evolved into a full-length project. Their mantra in the studio was to “make it dumb,” a phrase that became their guiding light throughout the process — challenging themselves not to overthink anything. – Zach Salafia
