Category: They might hail from Sydney, Australia, but What So Not haven’t spent much time in their hometown this year. For the better part of 2014, Chris ‘Emoh’ Emerson – who handles most of the WSN tour dates solo, while production partner Harley Streten keeps busy with the Flume thing – has been Stateside, playing high profile gigs around North America.
Next month Emoh will set off once more, this time for What So Not’s first ever European tour. To mark the occasion, they’ve gone to work on a brand new hour-long mix, which is live on Soundcloud now. The Flying to Europe mix doesn’t come with an official tracklist, but you can see what the collective minds of the internet have managed to ID below. With the hour spanning cuts from Chrome Sparks, Caribou, Mr. Carmack and What So Not’s own handiwork, rest assured it’s a damn solid mix of tunes.
Speaking with inthemix recently, Emoh confirmed that he’d be back on US soil for “a very big tour announced soon…” In the meantime, keep busy with the Flying to Europe mix below.
