It’s become tradition at every Above & Beyond show for someone to “push the button” during a moment of particular emotional significance. It basically entails bringing a lucky fan on stage to trigger an epic portion of a song and watching the crowd react in rapturous excitement.
During the trio’s recent record-breaking show at Madison Square Garden, the moment was captured in full. While in the past, “Sun & Moon” has served as the iconic “push the button” anthem, “Blue Sky Action” took the spotlight at MSG. As the vocal hook looped into infinity, Tony scanned the crowd, hand-selecting two attendees to come on stage and enact the moment of a lifetime.
