Deviating away from his home base on Mathew Dear’s Michigan based Spectral Sound, Audion has reunited with Kompact for “Dem Howl.” With a remix from Joris Voorn in tow and highlighting the full package, the Dutch star has retouched the original mix with his signature flair. Troels Abrahamsen’s vocals don’t deviate from the remix’s spotlight, but are instead backed with a sharp bassline and poignant snare work. One of the quietest years of releases for the Dutch mainstay, “Dem Howl” provides a worthy original mix for Joris Voorn to impact his critically acclaimed vision on.
