Rejoice, Coachella’s 2015 line-up is finally here

Category: EDM NEWS

Since Coachella organizers released their tantalizing 2014 “Desert Parallax” recap video, fans have been anxiously awaiting the festival’s line-up. After weeks of anticipation, the wait is no more.

The artist roster finally dropped this morning, and per usual, it’s stacked with the music industry’s biggest names. Headliners for each weekend (April 10-12 and April 17-19, 2015) include AC/DC, Jack White and Drake.

As dance music continues to thrive in the modern landscape, so has the number of Coachella’s dance-oriented offerings. Alesso, Nero, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Kaskade and David Guetta have all been given prime real estate (read: big font) on the line-up poster among the likes of Steely Dan, Tame Impala, The Weeknd, alt-J, St. Vincent and Florance + the Machine.

Other highlights include Flying Lotus, Porter Robinson, Todd Terje, Jon Hopkins, Jungle and Caribou (all of whom released critically-acclaimed albums last year), in addition to Odesza, Gesafflestein, Madeon, Jamie xx, Kygo, SBTRKT, Marco Carola, Oliver Heldens and so, so many more. Also worth noting is the appearance of JES&S, the four-man collaboration consisting of Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Skream and Seth Troxler.
