Dancing Astronaut - EDM, trap, techno, deep house, dubstep
Striking deep-house gold last year, Zhu has been nominated for a Grammy despite still being considered a rookie in the electronic music scene. There have been countless remixes of the hit singles off his debut EP, but no track resonated with both peer producers and the commercial audience as well as “Faded.” Now, trap artists DJ Snake and DJ Mustard have linked to breathe fresh air into the still-popular track. Supposedly crafted in only one night in Los Angeles, the now urban-stylized “Faded 2.0″ relies on heavy grit in its synths to display a new flavor atop a recent trendy and clunky snare. This collaboration certainly sits amongst the best Zhu remixes.
