Dancing Astronaut - EDM, trap, techno, deep house, dubstep
Before Steve Aoki caked, he warped.
Dancing Astronaut got its start back in 2009, around the same time “WARP 1977″ was born into existence by an up-and-coming guy named Steve Aoki and Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo of the Bloody Beetroots. The track that put Aoki, Dim Mak and the Beetroots on the map, “WARP 1977″ lead the electro house charge that defined the early US EDM boom. A classic by today’s standards, the screams and howling grunge synths still hold up today. While one can argue that Rifo was the brains behind the hit, it’s Aoki’s screams and his early-tastemaking prowess that really gave the production wings — thanks, in part, to his ability to expose it to world through Dim Mak and his burgeoning DJ presence.
Even today’s Aoki haters can’t deny this monster.
