Led by Warner Music Group during its first round of investors, LANDR has attracted some of electronic music’s biggest names to its platform. Pete Tong, Richie Hawtin, Tiga, John Acquaviva, Tiësto, and Steve Angello are among the newest round of investors for the startup, which reached a total of $6.2 million in funding. YUL Ventures, Real Ventures and Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier were also a part of the first round for the Montreal-based company, which only launched in May of 2014.

An artificially intelligent mastering system that ranges from $6 to $39 per month, LANDR is a one-stop service that doesn’t claim to beat the quality of a professional audio engineer. With that said, the company brought in fifty different audio and mastering professionals to refine its technology, and certainly has the potential to transform the way amateur music creators refine their work.
