Craig David is back with a UK Garage burner

Category: EDM NEWS

Your favourite UK Garage popstar is back in a big way. Craig David is launching a full-scale comeback assault on the music world (after a few years of largely doing reality shows), dropping his first new single in a long time – and it’s a badman burner.

David flagged up his intentions back in September when he appeared on MistaJam’s Radio 1 Xtra show for a live session with the Kurupt FM crew, which included a stonking cover of Jack Ü and Justin Bieber’s Where Are Ü Now using the vocals from David’s 2000 hit Fill Me In (if you somehow missed him murdering that beat, watch it over here).

Possibly the best thing about the whole clip is watching super-sized grime star Big Narstie absolutely losing his shit over the breakdown and Craig David’s verses – and it seems like it was the start of a beautiful friendship, because now the pair have combined forces for When The Bassline Drops, premiered appropriately on MistaJam’s show this week and now shared with the world via Craig David’s SoundCloud.
