Hear Nina Las Vegas rep the clubs on her new Diplo & Friends mix

Category: EDM NEWS

The last time Nina Las Vegas mixed for Diplo & Friends, she was still at triple j, hosting Mix-Up Exclusives every Saturday night and working on her own music on the side.

Fast forward a year and the Wagga-bred, globe-conquering star has left the station to launch her own label, tour globally and dive full time into producing. So when she got back in the BBC Radio 1Xtra hot seat over the weekend, Nina took the opportunity to show off the forward-thinking club music she’s been championing over the past 12 months.

“There’s nothing I like more than doing mixes and finding cool music for you,” Las Vegas introduced. “I’m going to take you all around the world, from the US’s Club Aerobics right through to Japan’s Trekkie Trax and at home, my home, Australia’s brand new NLV Records.” As well as cuts from NLV signees Strict Face and Swick – and an unreleased track of her own – Nina’s hour-long mix packs in tracks from SOPHIE, Skepta and DJ Sliink, closing out with some Justin Bieber.

Listen to the full mix below and hit the the BBC website for the tracklist.
