Listen to Flume’s engrossing new Bedtime Mix

Category: EDM NEWS

The hype around Flume’s impending new album, Skin, continues to climb at a breakneck pace. After sharing new singles like “Smoke and Retribution” and “Never Be Like You” — the latter of which has already racked up 12 million streams on SoundCloud — Harley Streten revealed a brand new stage design at Laneway Festival in Sydney.

The latest piece of the puzzle comes in the form of a new mix for BBC Radio 1. Taking over Phil Taggart’s Bedtime Mix show, Streten offers 30 minutes of smooth downtempo cuts. “Funnily enough, most of the music I listen to is more on the chill end of the spectrum,” Streten says. The mix flows like Sunday morning vinyl on a rainy day, weaving through blissful cuts like Jamie xx’s “Sleep Sound.” All in all, it’s an intriguing window into the softer side of Flume’s musical inclinations.
