Groovin the Moo 2016 loses two internationals but gains two big locals

Category: EDM NEWS

Bad news and good news for those of you setting sights on this year’s Groovin The Moo. First up, two big–name internationals have pulled the plug at the last minute. No strangers to Australia, New Orleans rock outfit Mutemath have broken their frequent run of tours down under with an announcement that they won’t be making their planned visit for Groovin the Moo. Joining them on the cancellation front is Chicago rapper and Yeezy collaborator Vic Mensa.

As consolation, a pair of decent local names have been added to the touring lineup. Rising star Jarryd James has stepped up to the plate, fresh from being announced on the Lollapalooza bill. Joining him will be the now–solo project What So Not, who is still commanding crowds across the world since the departure of Flume.

Groovin the Moo 2016 kicks off on April 23 in Maitland, working its way across the country then winding up in Bunbury on May 7. View the adjusted lineup and the full festival dates below.
