Category: EDM NEWS

The Splendour in the Grass 2016 line-up has finally been announced – but which day has the best list of acts?

The opening day features three acts that will be exclusive to Splendour – the headline set from The Strokes, the huge return of The Avalanches and a performance from James Vincent McMorrow – plus local legends Motez and Hermitude.

Day two will be headlined by The Cure who’ll be back in Australia for the first time epic three hour plus shows at Vivid LIVE in 2011. They’re joined by Snakehips plus sets from Santigold and an impressive local line-up featuring What So Not, Paces and The Meeting Tree.

The final day of the festival will see Flume taking on the biggest Australian set of his career to date with a massive headlining show. He’ll be joined on the Sunday line-up by other huge acts including James Blake, Duke Dumont, Golden Features, Courtney Barnett and Sigur Ros, who’ll be coming all the way to Australia just to play at Splendour.

Some acts including The Wild Feathers, The Jungle Giants, Melbourne Ska Orchestra and the tribute to Szymon have not yet revealed which days they’ll be performing. Check out the full day-by-day breakdowns as confirmed by Splendour below.
