Hear the brand new single from Sydney producer BUOY

BUOY, aka Sydney artist Charmian Kingston, has been hard at work in the past year honing her considerable musical acumen into the realm of electronic production.

With the layers of depth on her brand new single Clouds & Rain, the results are speaking for themselves. The just-released track, which is the first taste of her forthcoming Break EP, sees BUOY again collaborate with Jack Grace, along with Pieater singing Christopher Port. Clouds & Rain goes deep, billowing with deep bass alongside with some mind–melting electronica flourishes.

Trained as a jazz pianist, BUOY made a bold entry into production with 2015 EP Immersion, striking a chord with intricate and sparse production techniques alongside expressive vocals.

Clouds & Rain is out today through October Records – home to rising talents such as Amateur Dance, Ribongia, and The Completely Boys – with details of EP Break incoming. Stream the track below.
