This past weekend, HARD Summer festival-goers had to decide between Major Lazer and Porter Robinson. While the majority of the crowd went to see Major Lazer, there were thousands that ventured to see Porter Robinson put on one incredible show. Even though journalists are allowed to attend music festivals, most media companies aren’t given the rights to film any footage from the events. This rule luckily doesn’t pertain to festival-goers. For the past few months deadmau5 has been teasing the updated Cube V2 stage design. Attendees at the VELD Festival in Toronto, Canada were given the first look at deadmau5’s new cube setup. The $2 million stage design is 2.5x bigger than the previous design and comes complete with precise visuals paired to the music playing in front of them. One fan decided to record deadmau5’s entire set with his head camera and then later upload the footage to YouTube. While footage can be a bit shaky at times, now you can watch deadmau5’s new cube in action.
