Orange County-bred duo Koastle unveil a new era of the project with The Beginning. Composed of Andy Mueller and Brett Beaudette, Koastle have been methodically rising the ranks in the scene since their debut release in 2021. That rise now culminates with their biggest release to date – their debut album.
The 15-track album features collaborations with the likes of Talia Rose, Rebecca King and more. Singles “Out of Bounds” with Conrad and DLG., “Chi-town” with ?aszewo, and “Veins” served as sonic precursors for the album to come and emphasized Koastle’s ability to to shift between powerful melodies and and intimate, vocal-driven records.
On the live side, Koastle are fresh off massive support slots on tour with The Chainsmokers and have graced festival stages like Breakaway and Illfest. As the album states, this is a new beginning for the indie-electronic duo. It’s also a nod to their Koast Kards series, an audio-visual storytelling experience that pairs each release with cinematic backdrops like cliffside ocean views and flower fields.
