Rihanna turned down a Calvin Harris song for her new album

It looks like fans won’t be treated to a “We Found Love” follow up any time soon.

During a recent KISS FM interview, Calvin Harris discussed that because he was working on his own album, Motion, he could only contribute one production to Rihanna’s forthcoming album. The Billboard chart topper revealed that he and Tinashe had written a song for Rihanna but the pop star turned it down.

“I had an album to finish, so I did that,” he said. “But I did one track and Tinashe wrote the top line, and I did all the music. I love it. But I don’t think she was into it. So I don’t know what is going to happen to that because it’s really good.”
